After graduating from the University of Florida College of Law in 2004, Mr. Castro began his legal career with Bell, Leeper & Roper. As an associate attorney he handled complex civil cases ranging from auto accidents, slip and falls, and premise liability. Most cases involved the representation of defendants which provided him an invaluable insight how these cases are prepared early on his career.
In an effort to achieve greater litigation experience, Mr. Castro accepted a position as an assistant state prosecutor for the 13th Judicial Circuit in Tampa. During his tenure, Mr. Castro litigated over 300 motions, hearings and trials quickly rising through the ranks of juvenile, misdemeanor, and felony divisions.
In 2010, Mr. Castro formed Anton Castro law with his partner Christina Anton Garcia. Today, Mr. Castro uses his unique set of skills and experience to serve his client’s best interests in the areas personal injury. He dedicates time for each of his clients, providing a personal touch rarely seen in today’s high volume law firms which can be seen in his numerous positive reviews from former clients.
Mr. Castro is a member of the board of directors for the First Tee of Tampa Bay, a non-profit organization aimed at teaching youth positive life skills and lessons through the game of golf. Additionally, Mr. Castro volunteers with Lawyer’s for Literacy, which is aimed at assisting young students improve reading and writing skills. He is an avid outdoorsman, motorcycle enthusiast, and loves spending time with his dog, Junior.
